Rich Rodecker’s blog on flash, flex, actionscript, javascript, and php, with a dash of randomness
Actionscriptclasses.com
A while back I discovered phpclasses.org, and thought it would be cool to do something like that for actionscript…so I started setting up actionscriptclasses.com. Then it sat there while I attended to more pressing work. Well, I’ve been trying to get it going again, and I’d like to invite everyone to go ahead and start posting links to their own classes there.
The idea is pretty simple…just a place to point people in the right direction for the classes their looking for. It’s just a wordpress blog that everyone can sign up for and post to.
One thing i would like to do is tag the posts as AS2 or AS3, can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to set that up?

Just set up a new category and then add a link to AS2 and AS3 category searches in the menu…

you can use categories in wordpress. in the dashboard, go to manage>categories, and if you scroll down, you can add whatever you like. posts can have multiple categories, so when someone posts a class, they can tag it as, say, as3 + xml + whatever other category it might fall into.

I have a public wiki set up for just this reason as a project for school. I hope to continue with the project but as a one-man-effort it aint that fun

I agree with Julian, just set up a category. A Wiki may not be a bad idea either if you don’t want to do all of the management yourself.
